What is the best way to loose weight? I exercise.. and I cheated... haha, that's the truth, I actually use a combination of methods. It's really tough, I'm sure many of you have the same experience. You have tried but you failed miserably, and finally I gave up after not seeing the results. What you need to do depends on what kind of lifestyle you are having.
The lazy but able to control your diet type: you can do some minor exercise and go to a slimming centre.
The not so lazy and able to control your diet type: you just need to start doing more exercises.
If you are like me, I'm not lazy, but I'm unable to control my diet.... especially my diet for pastries.... you will need to do exercise, go to the slimming centre and at the same time pop some diet pills.
This is what I do. For my exercise routine in 1 week, I jog on Monday, do yoga on Tuesday, cycle or jog on Wednesday, Zumba on Thursday, and swim on Saturday. You must be thinking that I should be pretty slender with these exercise-packed week, but the truth is I am not losing any weight, but I am able to maintain my weight, feels good and still enjoy my pastries that I bake for myself every week.
So besides my exercise, I went to a slimming centre about once a month to keep in shape. I have tried one spa that wraps me like a mummy with some hot and disgusting stuff, sometimes they will stick patches on my mummy and thigh and run some electric current. During those dreadful sessions, I just can't wait for it to end and thinking why am I paying to get myself tortured, and most importantly, that stuff doesn't work for me AT ALL! Last year, I went to a new slimming spa that offers a service calls LPG Cellutone Contouring. It uses a roller to massage on the problem areas, breaks down the fat and sculpts the body. The process does not involve any heat and wrap or anything uncomfortable, it sometimes feels like a massage too. I am quite pleased with the result of this machine and has already signed on a second package ;-)
I also took some slimming pills, the Avalon Fat Burner, whenever I feel I am too guilty of all those fatty foods. This is not those pills that makes you run to the loo or make you lose your appetite, I will take it every other day and I think it is quite effective.
It is always not so advisable to just take the slimming pills and rely on a slimming spa for slimming down, no matter what, exercise it still important and it will keep your heart and soul healthy too. Ever since I started the regular exercise, I feel happier and healthier, so I hope all the ladies out there, no matter how busy you are, try to do some exercise every week, it will benefit you in every ways.

Ingrown Toenail
I know, it's kinda weird to be my first blog post, but I think this is a common problem which many people encounter but not sure what to do. This is happening to me now and of course several times in the past.
The first encounter I have with ingrown toenails was about 10 years ago. I didn't know how it started, but it was really painful and it very quickly turned into the 2nd stage where it starts to have pus. I didn't know what to do then but let it slowly grow out and slowly trimming them bit by bit and wearing open toes shoes everyday for several weeks. Finally one day, I managed to dig in and trim out what has been causing the pain and it slowly heeled.
Then for several occasions, I found that the edges of my big toenails always feel tender and painful after a day of wearing high heel and tight fitting shoes. So for the following week or two, I will stop wearing them, and the sore will slowly subside.
Recently, one came back again, it wasn't reaching the 2nd stage yet, just at the first where I can feel something is there and sore and I decided to quickly visit a nail saloon to let the ladies help me trim it. Don't be surprise, I bet everybody will be trying to bear with the pain and hoping that they will be able to trim it off themselves but it didn't go away and eventually it became too painful that they need to visit a GP to get it remove and start with a course of antibiotics.
You don't have to bear the pain.....! Just go to a nail saloon, the one I went to, just charge me $5, and my pain is instantly removed. You can also indulge yourself and do a little feet spa if you want to.
While telling you the best solution when you start to have the ingrown toenail, the best way is to prevent it from happening. Always cut your nail horizontally across and file the corners, wear comfortable and open toe shoes as often as you can and keep a look out for fungi growth as they also will cause ingrown toenails.
So hope you won't have to suffer again next time and do spend some time occasionally to enjoy a foot spa!
